breath again...

How lovely is to spend an evening at home and finally to have time to do all the things I've been postponing all week long!I worked evening shifts only and it was not fun at all.Less pressure,of course-all the bosses are home and resting,but more obnoxious people to talk to.And tomorrow I've been given a day off-Whee!!!I must go shopping,my dad has a big birthday party next week,whole world is invited-family and friends are coming,and I have nothing to wear.Which of course means,that I have a closet full of clothes,including many suitable outfits for the event-but can't find anything.And I need comfortable shoes.And to figure out what do I buy as a present.I have no idea where to start,what to get him!What do you give a man that has everything he needs and wants nothing?

Oh,and I'm still not quiet about Emmy nominations.I never really am.All the shows I ever loved,were almost never nominated-"Oz" got only one nom.,and Charles E.Dutton took home the Emmy for his forceful guest appearance in S2."Buffy" was never nominated,if I'm not mistaken and there's nothing to say about "Queer as Folk",they have no chance.I am perfectly aware of the fact,that show can be super-good,well-written and well-acted and never get the recognition it deserves.But it would've been nice:)Anyways,I am happy for "LOST" and Terry O'Quinn and despite everything I am very happy for Naveen Andrews:)

p.s.:"Fast and the furious" DVD is on,Michelle Rodriguez talking about cars and Vin Diesel,and "FaTF" and suddenly I realize that I will see her a lot in S2 of LOST.And I will have to learn to ignore her again.It was too easy to do so,when watching "FaTF",which is a slashy PWP kinda movie-but she will play a serious character on LOST and will be a part of the plot.Seriously,I don't know why this is bothering me at all,but yeah-it does...
